This attachment is meant for the basketball mission, it is supposed to lift the hoop up to the correct place.
A rack is a linear gear which meshes with a pinion which is a circular gear and converts a circular motion into a linear motion. These are the steps we used to create our rack and pinion.
Step 1. Find a rack and mesh it with a pinion by creating a frame around the rack.
Step 2. With the rack and pinion connected make sure they are very stable so it doesn't fall apart.
Step 3. Mount it on your robot vertically engaging it to the medium motor.
Step 4. Make sure it is stable on the robot by connecting drop in pins to the frame of the robot and the frame of the rack.
